We invite you for a personal meeting with special people: a refugee, a veteran, a violin maker, a storyteller, or you go to a temple, a mosque, a social initiative… You can make an appointment yourself or contact us for a custom program.
45 HOSTS - 1 CITIES - 56 ACTIVITIES (AND RISING)
The Hare Krishna’s are known for their great food. Exotic dishes are often served during festivals and in temples. The food is always on a vegetarian or vegan base and it's made with love. And you can taste it. Only after the food is offered to Krishna it can be eaten. You’ll never find meat, fish or eggs on the menu. And because garlic and onions unsettle the spirit they are not used in the kitchen. The Krishna movement is a movement within Hinduism. Krishna is the central. Passing on the love of God is the highest goal. The chanting of the mantra should be repeated every day at least 16 x 108 times, but as many times as you want. The chanting is done using a rosary with 108 beads. Feel free to ask your hosts any questions about their faith and their lives.
